The fiber retreat on Roan Mountain was wonderful beyond words. Beyond pictures even. I don’t have a single one. I did return with something I want to show you, though.
Meet Dorothy.
In the immortal words of Brenda Dayne:
We are saving the world from mass production–one sweater, one sock, and one voodoo doll at a time.
I think Dorothy might be the next step in my personal textile revolution.
I saw you take a bunch of pictures of cats at Smoky Mointain Bakers. You didn’t get one from the event? That’s funny. I have one of you teaching, I think.
Ohhh, yes yes yes! Forgot about the kitty pictures. I’ll have to post a couple of those next time. 🙂
You don’t have pics because you were having so much fun you never stopped to get your phone out. That’s a good thing. I hope Dorothy becomes a new friend of yours.
I think you’re right.
I can’t wait to see what you make with Dorothy!
Me too! Hahaha! 😉
Very cool! I also cannot wait to see what you make 🙂 Sounds like you had a fantastic time.
Thanks, Paula! The weaving learning curve seems pretty steep, so it’ll probably be awhile before I have anything to show for the time Dorothy and I spend together. ;0)
