I’ve been deconstructing the first Southern Star Block I attempted for the #quiltingonthegosewalong2025 trying to figure out where I went wrong with all the pieces not fitting together properly. I'm working on being much more precise with my shapes the second time around. Pics are in reverse order. The fourth pic is what the shapes looked like after I kept peeling back the fabric and cutting off a corner here and a sliver there trying to make things fit. 🤪 No idea how I went so far wrong. 😑
